Tears and Triumphs a 13-part half-hour series, will share the stories of Canada’s aboriginal athletes.

It will be an emotional, exciting series that will introduce viewers to the struggles, the dreams and the successes each athlete encounters as they train and compete in their chosen sport. Tears and Triumphs will look at both recreational athletes competing at a community level as well as those who have dreams of competing on the world’s stage. It will introduce both able-bodied and wheelchair athletes and their families, their coaches and their communities who will share their feelings about what it takes to pursue a dream and how an athlete’s love of sport influences their lives and the person they become.
